As I intend my anthologies to be sold, there will always be at least 12 stories within a book.
I've seen various methods of producng a 'series' of anthologies, which in some cases range from five to seven or eight stories per book. Unless the individual stories are novella length, I feel that these authors are failing to provide true value for their reader.
At the time of update, November 2017, I have so far produced:
'Smoke & Mirrors: and other short stories' is a collection of 12 tales encompassing a wide variety of genre, but with the common theme of summary justice.
'Coming Around: and other erotic stories' is a collection of 12 erotic tales, designed to tempt, tease and tittilate. Not for the narrow-minded or under 18's.
'The Welcome: and other Sci-Fi stories' is a collection of 15 tales which feature a variety of topics in the genre. Six of the stories are my own and original, three are my own and feature in other anthologies, and six stories are by guest authors.
'A Time for Courage: and other military stories' is a collection of 12 tales created using a wide spectrum of scenarios. Military experiences can be funny, heart-breaking and, everything in between.
'Temptation: and other stories' is a collection of 12 tales of mixed genre.
A selection of individual short stories are featured in the Writing menu.
I will watch the response to these collections before I continue with more anthologies.
Feedback is always welcome, so if you have any opinions or comments on my own, or anthologies in general, please use the Guestbook to get in touch.
